NEW MEXICO PRE-K
Welcome to Preschool!
Our Pre-K program is a joyful, engaging place where children can learn, explore, create, and grow! Through hands-on learning, purposeful play, and meaningful relationships, we help children build the academic, social, and emotional skills they need for a confident transition to kindergarten.
Our classrooms are designed to encourage curiosity, independence, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning—all while giving children plenty of opportunities to simply be kids. Watch our virtual tour, or come meet us in person!
PRE-K BEGINS MONDAY, AUGUST 31!
Our New Mexico Pre-K program officially begins on Monday, August 31! Check below for some important information on drop-off & pick-up, what to bring each day, and how to communicate with your child's teachers!
Arrival & Attendance

NM PreK hours are 8:30 AM–3:00 PM. Drop-off & pick-up times will both be staggered depending on class!

Classes begin at 9:00 AM! Any late drop-off needs to be communicated, and may only be permitted with a doctor’s note.
What To Bring Each Day

Students must bring a full-size backpack to and from school each day.

Please keep two complete changes of clothes, including socks, in a gallon-size Ziploc bag inside the backpack.

Students should bring a water bottle that can stay in the classroom.

Students must bring a cold or warm lunch each day. Staff can warm food but cannot cook meals.
Family Communication

Each student will receive a communication folder. Families should check it daily.

Stepping Stones Preschool utilizes Procare for daily communication! Procare is one of our main ways of keeping families connected throughout the day, whether it’s important notifications or photos from us, or updates from you!
