Mrs. Cindy
My name is Mrs. Cindy and I am the Director and Owner of Stepping Stones Preschool, Inc. I always knew I wanted to work with children, when I was little,I loved playing school and of course being the teacher! After a career change in 2012, I decided to stay home with my youngest child, returned to college and opened a home childcare. I quickly knew this was what I wanted to continue to do. In 2020, my husband John and I had the opportunity to start a commercial preschool and we decided to take a leap of faith, because honestly, I couldn’t imagine doing anything other than working with children. I am EXCITED to start our journey with your children in this new setting.
A little about me…
I have a master's in education, a minor in early childhood education and a bachelor’s in business. I previously taught 3rd grade in a public-school classroom for a multiple of years. I was born and raised in El Paso, Texas and moved to Rio Rancho, NM in 2007when John and I got married and bought our home. We have 5 children, Greg, Ashley, Eddie, Issac and Sophie. We also have 9 grandchildren which include 2 sets of twins. We also have 3 dogs, Roxy, Bandit and Apollo. In my free time I enjoy spending time with John and all our kids and grands. I also enjoy traveling, camping, jeeping, lake time and shopping.

Mrs. Amanda
Hi my name is Mrs. Amanda Rodriguez I am the toddler teacher for Stepping Stones Preschool, Inc. I have my Certificate in Early Child Development and my Associates in Early Childhood Multicultural Education. I have worked with children for seven years; I have experience with special education and have also worked one on one with children using ABA therapy.
I am happily married to my amazing husband Roderick and together we have eight children Lukas, Adrianna, Collin, Kianna, Beverly, Kaylee, Bailey, and Kattie and three dogs and one cat! We live in Rio Rancho and love our community! Our lives are busy and crazy but filled with so much joy! We are very active in our church and love to have family dinners and outings whenever possible. When Mrs. Cindy asked me to join her at Stepping Stones Preschool, Inc. it was an easy decision to make. I am excited to be part of your babies lives and make memories along the way.

Hello, I'm Victoria. I am the Educational Coordinator here at Stepping Stones Pre-School. As a mother of two kids, my passion for childcare extends beyond the classroom. I come from a small town in Missouri where I understand the importance of community. As a military spouse, I held on to those small-town values as I began my career with the Child and Youth Services on base. My family and I love exploring the great outdoors through camping, hiking, and traveling. I enjoy learning new skills and hobbies during my free time. I also have an Australian Shepherd and two rescue cats. I am deeply committed to providing quality childcare and feel proud to contribute to the success of the children who come through our doors. I look forward to meeting and getting to know all of the wonderful families in our pre-school community.
Ms. Elaine
Hi, my name is Elaine. The kiddos call me Miss Elaine. I have 3 kids and 2 dogs. I'm expecting my first grandchild in March. I worked for RRPS for 14 years as an Educational Assistant. I spent 11 years working with Special Education and 3 years with Kindergarten. I love working with children with all types of abilities because it's challenging and rewarding at the same time.
Ms. Destiny
Hello families! My name is Destiny and I am 23 years old. I am the lead toddler teacher here at Stepping Stones Preschool. I am currently enrolled at CNM to receive my associates degree in Early Childhood Multicultural Education. Growing up I was always helping my parents with my younger brothers who are now 11 and 9 and I believe that’s where my passion for the littles came from. In my free time I enjoy going to concerts, hanging out with my friends and my puppy Cosmo! I am excited to make a positive impact on the lives of your children, helping them grow, learn and thrive during their crucial early years.
Mr. Issac
Hello My name is Issac Flores, or the kids like to call me is Mr. Issac, or Beard guy haha. I've been working with kids for about a year now hands on, but have been around small children since I was 12 years old, I really enjoy taking care of the kiddos, and making sure they have a great day, I am happy to start this journey along side your kiddos, I took family and children all 4 years of my high school journey and have gotten to be fairly experienced with being around little ones. My mom is Cynthia Zbiegien (Director of the school), and has always taken care of children, so its something my life has been built around, and have come around to thoroughly enjoy doing.
I have a German Shepard mix whose name is Roamie, and she is always with me. She is a certified therapy and day care animal, and loves all the kids. I live with my older brother and his girlfriend, and we have 2 dogs total. Things I like to do for fun outside of work include, long hike's with my dog, going to the river, playing video games, and my favorite TV show is Pokemon. My favorite color is Yellow, and lastly again i want to thank all o`af you, for allowing me to be apart of this journey with your little ones.
Miss. Robin
My Name is Robin or Miss Robin. I have been working with children for 20 years now. I was at APS for 7 yrs as the nurses assistant. I worked for Rio Rancho Schools for several years with the kinder team. I enjoy working with children. I have 2 children of my own and I love animals.
Mrs. Savannah
Hello, my name is Savannah Case, but to the children I’m Miss Savannah. This is my first year teaching at the preschool level. I have previously worked at CHS and RRHS as a science teacher. I then transitioned to elementary school and taught a 1st /2nd grade combo class at a small private Christian school. After the school closed I was presented with this opportunity to teach PreK. I am loving it and enjoying getting to know your child(ren).
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Criminology and a secondary teaching license. I graduated from UNM in 2011. I will begin taking class again in January to obtain my degree in Early Childhood Education.
I am married to my best friend, Doug. We have 3 daughters, Marlie, Lucy and Gemma. Along with 3 dogs, Whitney (Lab), Nikki (Lab) and Pupster (Mutt). I have a small home based cookie business, The Cookie Case. I specialize in custom decorated cookies. Baking is my favorite thing to do! My favorite food is Pizza and I love anything PINK!!!
