Mrs. Cindy
My name is Mrs. Cindy and I am the Director and Owner of Stepping Stones Preschool, Inc. I always knew I wanted to work with children, when I was little,I loved playing school and of course being the teacher! After a career change in 2012, I decided to stay home with my youngest child, returned to college and opened a home childcare. I quickly knew this was what I wanted to continue to do. In 2020, my husband John and I had the opportunity to start a commercial preschool and we decided to take a leap of faith, because honestly, I couldn’t imagine doing anything other than working with children. I am EXCITED to start our journey with your children in this new setting.
A little about me…
I have a master's in education, a minor in early childhood education and a bachelor’s in business. I previously taught 3rd grade in a public-school classroom for a multiple of years. I was born and raised in El Paso, Texas and moved to Rio Rancho, NM in 2007when John and I got married and bought our home. We have 5 children, Greg, Ashley, Eddie, Issac and Sophie. We also have 9 grandchildren which include 2 sets of twins. We also have 3 dogs, Roxy, Bandit and Apollo. In my free time I enjoy spending time with John and all our kids and grands. I also enjoy traveling, camping, jeeping, lake time and shopping.

Ms. Destiny
Hi families! My name is Ms. Destiny and I’m 25 years old. I’ve been with SSPS for almost three years and I am the lead teacher of our newest preschool room. Prek3!! I just enrolled in an early childhood bachelor program at WNMU. I grew up taking care of my younger brothers who are now 11 and 13. Currently I spend lots of time with my sweet nephew Josiah. So that’s where my passion for the little ones comes from! In my free time I enjoy going to concerts, spending time with my dog Cosmo, hanging with friends/family,traveling, and eating some good food! I am so excited to be a part of your children’s learning journey in their crucial early years. I am committed to providing a loving and supportive environment for your children to grow and thrive!

Mrs Cass
Hi! My name is Cass, and I’m 36 years old. I’m engaged and have a full, busy home life with five kiddos, three cats, and two dogs—so there’s never a dull moment!
In my free time, I enjoy reading, singing, and traveling whenever I get the chance. I have completed some college coursework with a focus on Psychology, and I spent several years working in the addiction and mental health field. That experience taught me patience, empathy, and the importance of meeting people where they are.
After some time, I felt called to start fresh and return to childcare, where I could make a positive impact early in children’s lives. I am currently the Educational Assistant in the PK3 classroom alongside Miss Destiny, and I’m so excited to support our little learners as they grow, explore, and thrive.
