Mrs. Cindy
My name is Mrs. Cindy and I am the Director and Owner of Stepping Stones Preschool, Inc. I always knew I wanted to work with children, when I was little,I loved playing school and of course being the teacher! After a career change in 2012, I decided to stay home with my youngest child, returned to college and opened a home childcare. I quickly knew this was what I wanted to continue to do. In 2020, my husband John and I had the opportunity to start a commercial preschool and we decided to take a leap of faith, because honestly, I couldn’t imagine doing anything other than working with children. I am EXCITED to start our journey with your children in this new setting.
A little about me…
I have a master's in education, a minor in early childhood education and a bachelor’s in business. I previously taught 3rd grade in a public-school classroom for a multiple of years. I was born and raised in El Paso, Texas and moved to Rio Rancho, NM in 2007when John and I got married and bought our home. We have 5 children, Greg, Ashley, Eddie, Issac and Sophie. We also have 9 grandchildren which include 2 sets of twins. We also have 3 dogs, Roxy, Bandit and Apollo. In my free time I enjoy spending time with John and all our kids and grands. I also enjoy traveling, camping, jeeping, lake time and shopping.

Hi, I'm Victoria, the Assistant Director here at Stepping Stones Preschool. As a mom of two myself, I know how big the first step into school can feel. My passion for childcare comes not just from my work, but from my own experience as a parent who wants the very best for her children. I grew up in a small town in Missouri, where I learned the value of strong community connections, and that's something I strive to bring into our preschool family every day. Outside of work, my family and I love camping, hiking, and traveling together. I'm also an animal lover with an energetic Australian Shepherd and two rescue cats. Here at Stepping Stones Preschool, I'm committed to creating a safe, nurturing environment where your child can thrive, explore, and grow. I can't wait to welcome you, get to know your family, and be a part of your child's exciting journey.
Ms. Destiny
Hello families! My name is Destiny and I am 23 years old. I am the lead toddler teacher here at Stepping Stones Preschool. I am currently enrolled at CNM to receive my associates degree in Early Childhood Multicultural Education. Growing up I was always helping my parents with my younger brothers who are now 11 and 9 and I believe that’s where my passion for the littles came from. In my free time I enjoy going to concerts, hanging out with my friends and my puppy Cosmo! I am excited to make a positive impact on the lives of your children, helping them grow, learn and thrive during their crucial early years.
Ms. Malayiah
Hello there! My name is Malayiah Livingston and I am 20 years old! I
am the teachers assistant for the Toddlers, Ms.Destinys class. I am currently going to school for my Early Childhood Education certificate at Central New Mexico. I have lots of experience from babysitting my family and their kids from all ages. I am originally from the Navajo Nation and moved here to continue my passion to work with kids. I love to go out and have fun with my friends because I love experiencing new things with those I love. I love all things shopping, video games, cooking, baking and playing the piano is my favorite.
Ms.Deanna

My name is Deanna, I am 27 years old, and I am the teachers assistant for PreK, in Mr. Isaac’s class. I am planning on going to school this coming fall to become an EA, and get my degree in early childhood education. Being new to the daycare/preschool world, I have found so much joy and have been loving working alongside the kids. It has made me certain of what I want my career to look like. I have a 3 year old daughter named Alyvia, I love being outdoors, going on walks, shopping, swimming, trying new restaurants, working out, traveling and spending time with my daughter, family and friends.

Mr. Issac
Hello My name is Issac Flores, or the kids like to call me is Mr. Issac, or Beard guy haha. I've been working with kids for about a year now hands on, but have been around small children since I was 12 years old, I really enjoy taking care of the kiddos, and making sure they have a great day, I am happy to start this journey along side your kiddos, I took family and children all 4 years of my high school journey and have gotten to be fairly experienced with being around little ones. My mom is Cynthia Zbiegien (Director of the school), and has always taken care of children, so its something my life has been built around, and have come around to thoroughly enjoy doing.
I have a German Shepard mix whose name is Roamie, and she is always with me. She is a certified therapy and day care animal, and loves all the kids. I live with my older brother and his girlfriend, and we have 2 dogs total. Things I like to do for fun outside of work include, long hike's with my dog, going to the river, playing video games, and my favorite TV show is Pokemon. My favorite color is Yellow, and lastly again i want to thank all of you, for allowing me to be apart of this journey with your little ones.
Ms. Candis
Hi! My name is Ms. Candis and I’m an EA in the pre k rooms. I have worked in early childhood education for 6 years and have worked with children from birth to 12 years old. I have 2 kiddos of my own, a 17 and an 11 year old and they are my world. When I’m not working, I enjoy working out, traveling, baking, reading, art, and anything true crime/spooky. I am currently enrolled in CNM for my associates degree in early childhood education and also have my degree in accounting. I look forward to building relationships with the families and inspiring the children to learn through play, creating a lifelong love of learning.
Ms. Elaine
Hi, my name is Elaine. The kiddos call me Miss Elaine. I have 3 kids and 2 dogs. I'm expecting my first grandchild in March. I worked for RRPS for 14 years as an Educational Assistant. I spent 11 years working with Special Education and 3 years with Kindergarten. I love working with children with all types of abilities because it's challenging and rewarding at the same time.

Ms. Maria
Hi my name is Maria. I am currently a floater at stepping stones. I am also in the process of enrolling at CNM to go for my associates. I have a 4 year old son who’s named Zaidyn, he is my absolute world. Definitely keeps me on my toes ! Ever since graduating high school in 2022 and even before my son, I have always known I wanted to work with children. I’m grateful I get this opportunity to work with all your children, and I’m happy to be there and watch them grow every step of the way from newborn till they go on to kindergarten! On my free time I love shopping, and I also love going on eventful adventures or doing something fun like going to the zoo, children’s museum, bowling, skating, the park, going on road trips, or vacations, or I love to also go to my sons favorite place jungle jam too, But most of the time I stay home and watch movies on a very much needed day off! I adore all the children at Stepping Stones and I look forward to working with them and to create a bond with them all!

Ms. Adrianna
Hello, I am Adrianna-Patricia Lopez and I am the Prek 2 teacher here at Stepping Stones! I have worked with all of the children in our facility, and was previously the lead teacher for the infant classroom. I am currently studying Early Childhood and Multicultural Education at the University of New Mexico. I live in Albuquerque with my partner and our two daughters and son. Rem, our kitty, was adopted last November when she was 2 years old. Boba Fett, our puppy, was adopted in April of this year when she was 1 and a half. Ryuk, our youngest kitty, was adopted in September when he was 2 weeks old. I am a choir kid at heart, and because of that I love musicals and going to different music events. When I have some off time I enjoy playing video games and spending time with family and friends. My favorite color is pink, my favorite show is Jersey Shore, and my favorite snack is hot cheetos. I love working with children and I am blessed to be able to do so. I am excited to work with your babies!

Hi there! I’m Ms. Eva, a teacher’s assistant at Stepping Stones Preschool, where everyday is an adventure! I love helping little learners grow, explore, and discover the world around them through creativity, laughter, and lots of fun. When I’m not in the classroom, you can find me spending time with my sweet dog or out and about enjoying new experiences. I believe learning should always be exciting, and I’m so lucky to be a part of a place that makes that possible! I can’t wait to make more amazing memories with our little stepping stones

Hello, I am Ms. Audrey and am an assistant teacher at Stepping Stones Preschool. I am 18 years old and will be continuing my post-secondary education in social work and early childhood psychology. I enjoy spending time with my parents, siblings, and boyfriend. I also like to play with my two puppies and bunnies. My favorite holidays are Christmas and Halloween! My current hobbies are going to pilates and running! I love going to school and learning how to make a difference in people’s lives. My overall goal is to make children feel confident in themselves and in their learning capabilities. I have always had a passion for working with children and am grateful for the opportunity to encourage your children to become their best selves!
